"Comet" Bobsled Rides

Feel the rush as you speed down the Olympic track in a 4-person bobsled. A trained pilot will take you and two other passengers through 15 curves, reaching speeds up to 80 mph, and pulling close to 5 G's of force. The "Comet" bobsled ride is not for the faint of heart. Billed as the most intense minute of your life, this ride will give you a very good idea of what Olympic bobsled athletes experience day in and day out.

$200/per person - RESERVATIONS REQUIRED

Dates and Hours of Operation
The 2009-2010 Winter Comet Bobsled season starts on Saturday, December 19th, 2009
and runs through Saturday March 20th, 2010.
Dates and times vary, but rides are usually offered Tue-Sat, with check-in around 4pm.

SPECIAL NOTES
*Winter Comet passengers MUST be at least 16 years old and in good health.

*Riders under 18 MUST be accompanied by parent/guardian.
*If you have any back or neck problems, DO NOT RIDE THE COMET.

*Pregnant women are not permitted on the Comet.

Public Skeleton Rides

For the first time ever, anyone 14 years or older can slide from the Tourist Start HEAD FIRST down the 2002 Olympic track on a skeleton sled. All equipment is provided and there is no experience necessary.

SPECIAL NOTES
*Public skeleton participants MUST be at least 14 years old and in good health.

*Riders under 18 MUST be accompanied by parent/guardian.

*A minimum of 5 participants is required or the session will be cancelled.

Pricing
$50/per person - RESERVATIONS REQUIRED

Dates and Hours of Operation
This once-in-a-lifetime Olympic experience is available this winter season on the following Saturdays:

March 6 - SOLD OUT
March 13 - SOLD OUT
March 20 - SOLD OUT

Check-in time for all sessions is 3:00pm at the museum Host Desk.

Public skeleton rides are sold out for the 2009-10 season. Check back next fall for scheduling info on the 2010-11 season.
