Utah Athletic Foundation (UAF) Bobsled and Skeleton Development Program

The Utah Athletic Foundation’s Bobsled and Skeleton program is pleased to announce the launch of a series of evaluation clinics designed to introduce athletes (male and female, ages 14-24) to the sports of bobsled and skeleton.

Fitness Evaluations consist of a nine item test which include interval running (up to 60m), a shot put toss, vertical leap and power clean/ back squat (lifting). The Push Clinic will be held at Utah Olympic Park’s summer state-of-the-art push track where basic push skill will be taught.

Utah Athletic Foundation – Bobsled & Skeleton Development Program

Pat Brown – Head Coach
Head coach of the UAF Bobsled Developmental Program, Pat brings 24 years of bobsled and skeleton experience to the program. Previously, Pat was a nationally ranked bobsled and skeleton as a member of the U.S. National team. Pat has coached two Olympic teams - the 1988 Jamaican Bobsled Team, the 2002 Greek Bobsled Team. Additionally, Pat is certified as a FIBT driving coach and continues to hone his bobsled driving skills as a lead driver at the Utah Olympic Park’s public bobsled program.

Steve Revelli – USBSF National Program Coordinator
Steve has been involved with the sliding sports since 1998. He is a member of USBSF as a National level official. He also serves on the USBSF competition committee, and its Board of officials. Steve served as a team leader for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games for Bobsled and Skeleton.
